2026 GSC Winter Racing and Training

Dates: May 3, 17, 31; Jun 14 and July 5

Event information:

Winter Training at Goolwa Sailing Club followed by optional Racing in the afternoon in the GSC Winter Series

What’s not to love; flat fresh water, no shore break, no wall of seaweed and a café next door.

Plan is we have Quinn or Harry coaching from 9-12, then we race with GSC in the afternoon, which will also be supported by the coach. If we get some beginners Renee has volunteered to coach a green fleet. Cost of coaching will be max $50, less with more sailors.

Sailors will have to join GSC which is $30 for the season, and $10 race entry.

Optimists can be hired for $20 from GSC, which includes race entry.

All sailors must be current IODASA members and register here to participate, as required for insurance purposes.

Sailors can register for one or all events and pay as you go, payment can be made to Matthew Johnson on the day.
